should I make some tools for sale?

Hi everyone,
during the last weeks, I've got several emails from people asking me, if I have some of my Schellert-tools for sale. There seems to be some interest, especially in my Schellert-tool with the small sculpting tips for very small details.

So I would like to know, if there are some more people out there that would like to buy such a tool.

Actually I didn't make this blog for selling tools, but for showing how to do it on your own. But I confess, that some tools are not as easy and fast to do at home especially if you haven't got the right tools for that. So I'm thinking about making a few pieces of the Schellert-tool with the 1mm heads if enough people are interested in.

So please tell me if you are interested :-)

  1. Mm, sounds interesting. Can you give an estimate on the price?

  2. Two years ago, I made 20 or so pieces of this tool and sold them for 39,00 €. But as it seems, there isn't much interest in buying such a tool, so it might not to be the best idea to build another bunch of them soon.

  4. Yes! I mostly use a "wax #5" for a majority of my work but it is kinda big for the more fine detail. A scaled down version of that tool would be very helpful.

  6. This is one of the most valuable sites on the internet for sculpting. Thank you so much for preparing this inspiring information. I've done some simple 'Greens' but I'm ready to dive into more involved projects because of this blog.

  8. THank you very much for you tips. I am jewellery hobbyist. Sculpture tools you describe are used for creating lost wax originals. I also found your tool forging techniques removed some of the guess work when forging sterling silver rods into shapes. Keep up the good work.
